What defines your films (or creative works) online prescence?
Is it a website?
Facebook? Twitter? Instagram? Pinterest? and on… and on…
The porous web is the idea that our online experiences are becoming imperminant. We create. It exists. It disappears.
We are constantly strugglinge to deliver value. The creative force that drives us to create film also drives us to create a uniquely identifiable brand for our film.
Does your website have any value other than online squatting? Is it more of a placeholder… just in case… because there is nothing better to do on that space than put up some pictures and a trailer.
It used to be having that online space for your film was uber important. But now, that is questionable. If it doesn’t have value do you need it? Hard to say. Is your audience actually connecting with your site or in other channels?
The porous web is about understanding that content and information drips through us like sivs. It’s here today and gone tomorrow.
Connection. In the online space that you tread is the only thing that matters now.
Now play!
