Lowbudget filmmaking comes with favours. You don’t make a low budget film without asking for one or two… or three or four.
But sometimes, the generosity of others will directly affect your ability to actual manage what you have. Free things can come at a cost.
The bigger the “circus” the bigger the infrastructure that’s required to move it. For every truck you’ll need someone to drive it. You need two people to move a table. Or a dolly. The point is, only ask for what you need and don’t take more, even if it’s offered.
You’ll save yourself time and money. Keep your it tight. Keep it nimble.
