William Rexer isn’t just a cinematographer, or an excellent cinematographer, though he is that as well. He’s a filmmaker. William is the kind of guy who directors lean on, trust, and love to work with in a way that goes way beyond the set. Having shot practically every format, including commercials, television, music videos, and dozens of features, he’s gained a boatload of experience and insights and is great at sharing them. Edward Burns wouldn’t turn to this guy for 7 films just because he’s talented or nice. He’s both of those things and more. An artful eye, a great attitude, and a wonderful understanding of film and photography have led William to where he is today.
